Grounding recipe

This is the recipe for the snack I offer; I think it was in a national newspaper.  This is gluten and dairy free but does contain nuts.  The oats I use are harvested and packaged to ensure no cross contamination by gluten containing products, according to the packet.  I offer the recipe for you to decide  whether to eat it or not, either way, I will not be offended.

Ingredients

4 Medjool dates

50g ground almonds

25g rolled oats

100g grated carrots

2 tbsp milled flaxseed

1 tsp allspice

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla extract

15g coconut flakes

1 tsp fresh grated ginger

12 walnuts

Method

Blitz the dates, almonds and oats together in a food processor.  Add all other ingredients apart from the walnuts.  If the mix is too wet add some more oats.

Take half a walnut, roll the ingredients into a ball around it.  Pop them onto a tray and into the fridge for a couple of hours.
