Why might I need this?

Our physical actions, thought processes and emotions all use energy.  When we feel hungry or tired, we eat and sleep and hopefully our batteries are recharged.  But not always.  Many things can deplete our energy reserves and sometimes we just need to find a little bit extra from somewhere, often when there has been illness or trauma, but sometimes healing is just a lovely pick me up!.

How does it help?

Healers and mediums are facilitators.  They are the connection between you and the vast support that is available to you from the spiritual realms.  Spiritual healing is simply the transference of pure, high quality energy to your body. Many words are used for this energy in a variety of cultures.  Words you may have heard are: universal/source/divine and all refer to the same thing.

Your being will then make the best use of this energy without much input from your conscious self, or for that matter, mine.  It will all depend upon what you need.  If you have a physical ailment,  some energy will go towards helping the body heal but it does not negate the need for medical support.  If you broke your leg you would take it for granted that you need someone to x-ray it and put it in plaster.  Healing, though, can then help speed up the recovery time.  Sometimes, you may just need your spirits lifting or you may have been going around in circles on a particular issue.  I have known people to find clarity and peace in the days following a healing.

How is it done?

You can have your healing seated or lying down.  There is no need to undress and I can work either with a light touch on the shoulders and limbs or with my hands away from the body; depending on what makes you feel more comfortable.

I usually incorporate crystals into the healing and will offer you one to take home with you at the end of the session.

What can I do to prepare?

Do not turn up for a healing having just eaten a three-course meal but do not feel starving either  - allow an hour after a meal is a good rule of thumb.  Be nicely hydrated and allow yourself time for quiet contemplation before and after, maybe even a nap.

N.B. SPIRITUAL HEALING IS COMPLEMENTARY TO ANY OTHER TREATMENT YOU ARE RECEIVING AND SHOULD NOT BE SEEN AS A 'MIRACLE CURE' OR AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR ANYTHING THAT YOUR HEALTHCARE PROVIDER DEEMS TO BE OF IMPORTANCE TO YOU AND YOUR CARE
